In 2003, through the vision of its founders and with financial support from family, the first churros produced by The Churro Factory® became available in a small café in Town East Mall in the Dallas area. The mall eatery offered not only mouth-watering churros, but also gourmet sandwiches and great variety of ice cream treats. The Churro Factory® soon became a hit, and customers would travel long distances just to enjoy one of their delicious menu items. Our secret churro recipe, which has been improved through the years, is what has made The Churro Factory® churros so popular and desirable.

The Churro History

A well-liked pastry often referred to as a Spanish doughnut, churros are treats shaped in the form of a tube that can be plain or enhanced with sweet fillings. They are lightly crispy on the outside and have a soft, cake like interior. The tradition of eating churros with coffee or hot chocolate was introduced by the Spanish in the 16th century to Latin America, where it proved to be as popular as it had been in Europe. Expanding our roots

In fact, requests from The Churro Factory® clients for more locations in which to find the treats led the company to expand. In 2011, the company began manufacturing, marketing and distributing to restaurants and shops in the Dallas-Fort Worth area under the trademark of The Churro Factory®. The treats are now available in hundreds of businesses throughout the country. Each business that sells The Churro Factory® products is committed to following the company’s strict standards of freshness and quality.
